Adding an Image to an Existing PDF

  1. Open Tools Panel
  2. Select Content Group
  3. Select Edit Object
  4. Right Click in PDF
  5. Select Place Image
  6. Select File Type
  7. Select Image
  8. Move Image to Final Destination
  9. Save PDF

Use the Adobe Acrobat PDF Optimizer to reduce the file size of PDF files

Forms

  1. Go to Forms > Add or Edit Fields
  2. A pop-up message will appear asking if you'd like Acrobat to automatically detect fields:
    1. Choose Yes if box like shapes that resemble fields appear on the document. Stop here.
    2. Choose No to add custom fields in custom locations. Continue to step 3.
  3. Click the Add New Field menu
  4. Select the desired field type and drag to the appropriate location on the document
  5. Double click on the field to define the field's properties (name, attributes, etc)
  6. When finished, click the Close From Editing button.

Allow Reader Users to Save Form Data

  1. Open the form in Adobe Acrobat Pro X or higher
  2. Add fillable fields
  3. Go to File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features... > Save Now
  4. Acrobat Reader users will now be able to save form data on fillable PDF's, sign an existing signature field, and digitally sign the document anywhere on the page
