Resize Art Board

Follow these instructions to resize an art board. This step is commonly needed as a prerequisite to exporting an EPS file into SVG format, while preserving a specific size.

1. Go to: File > Document Setup...
2. A new window will appear. Under the Units dropdown menu, select Pixels
3. Click the Edit Artboards button to the right.
4. Change the W and H attributes to the desired size. Changing the X and Y values do not impact art board size; they merely change the position of the art board on the screen.

Export SVG

1. Go to: File > Save As...
2. Select SVG as the desired file type.
3. Select the options shown below and press OK
